Personal Statement

I am a 26 year old actress / model and I also have 20 years dance experience.

I am from York, East Yorkshire.

I love nothing better than being in front of a camera.

I was the highest achieving student in my year in most of my subjects and have always been advanced in school work since a very young age. Reading and writing is something I thoroughly enjoy. I also take pride in my appearance and can say at the age of 26 I know who I am as a person and I know what I want out of life.

Aurora (Short Film)

Meet Aurora...

… or Rory for short (played by SHANIA BAILEY), who has been raised by her Nan (GWEN BAILEY).

She finds out her dad (RICHARD BAILEY) has died, and left her various “things”. Rory meets her Dads friend, Amanda (FAYE BAILEY) who gives her some advice.

Will Rory, sell everything and carry on with her life, or will she grasp her Dad’s love of all things snow related and honour his final wishes ?

This short film is for a University project and is one of CultroFilms first “proper” projects.

Loosely based on Tatty Hennesseys play “Hundred Words for Snow” with a hint of Disneys Snow Dogs and some real life stories thrown in for good measure.

Mad Theatre presents The Red Thread (as part of Takeover 2024)

It’s fate, you can’t escape it. But how will it leave us? Alone or somehow forced together? Let’s find out what fate will throw at us this time.

TakeOver exists to give young people the opportunity to gain valuable real life work experience along with support and mentoring from professional industry mentoring, while having the freedom to programme and produce a large-scale arts festival.

We inspire and cultivate the potential of young people in our community through the creative arts and uphold our reputation nationally as an innovator in the field.

Creative Engagement (Creative Writing)

As part of Takeover 2024 (135ht – 18th May) I am creating an exhibition of creative writing that wil be based at York Theatre Royal.

The pieces will be known as “What am I grateful for?”.

These pieces will be created with the help of students and the public to give their thoughts on the things in their life that they may take for granted and are truly grataeful for.

These will come to life during takeover week.
